New toolbox for teaching about CCI
EBS's research group "Creative Industries and Smart Cities", together with the best creative industry experts from Iceland, Norway and Estonia put their heads together, involved experts from elsewhere and created teaching materials for the creative industries and entrepreneurship, i.e. a toolbox that universities and creative incubators can use for free.

The CCI Learning Module Toolbox provides all the elements you need to put together an innovative creative entrepreneurship course for undergraduate students. In addition, it can be used to create an elective module for MBA students, for example, and to put together business incubation programs for people interested in starting a creative business (lifelong learning).

The project was funded by the EEA/Norway Higher Education Cooperation Program.

Creative entrepreneurs’ perception of entrepreneurial motivation: a valuable insight for creative business incubators when supporting creative entrepreneurs’ cooperation with other industries
The paper introduces a valuable insight for creative business incubators when it comes to supporting creative entrepreneurs’ cooperation with other industries and investigates the research question: What role does the creative entrepreneur’s perception of entrepreneurial motivation play in creative entrepreneurs’ cooperation with other industries?” The paper finds that creative entrepreneurs may be more motivated by intrinsic motivation and entrepreneurs in other industries by extrinsic motivation and this may lead to a communication gap between creative and other entrepreneurs, which affects their cooperation.

"Discussing Cross-Borders of Creative and Traditional Industries - Spillover Effects"
With the first issue of the publication series “to be debated SPILLOVER”, ecce laid the foundation for a more scientific-based debate about the concept of cultural and creative spillovers. In response to this ecce released a Call for Papers in June 2015 and addressed persons and institutions from politics, research, society, and the economy to take part in this discourse by submitting papers and comments on the subject of cultural and creative spillovers.

Following is my answer to the call.

"The paper discusses the paradigm surrounding spillover effects in creative industries by first giving an approach to the underlying definition of the term and in the following critically examining its potential and precise areas in which spillovers can come into effect. How can, for example, managerial activities in the sector of traditional industries benefit from those in the creative sector and what can be held against this position?"
