Kristiina's short bio
ExperienceKristiina has experience in creative entrepreneurship, strategic management, marketing, and product and service development. She has led international teams and projects and managed design and innovation processes. Kristiina started as a creative entrepreneur in 2008. She was one of the founders and a manager of a graphic design agency (CTRL Control Disain) and a company combining new technologies and audiovisual solutions (Visar Studio). Kristiina is also one of the authors and producers of the first 4D animation in Estonia.

EducationKristiina is a PhD candidate at the Estonian Business School. Her research focuses on cultural and creative industries and developing creative entrepreneurship. Kristiina has a Master's in Cultural Management from the joint international program between the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and the Estonian Business School. In addition, Kristiina has an undergraduate degree from art college Pallas (major in Media and Design). She has also enhanced her skills and experience at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, Germany.

TodayKristiina is a creative economy (CCI) expert and researcher with over 15 years of experience in the field. She uses her experience and knowledge to research CCI and consults creative and cultural organizations and companies. Kristiina manages the Creative Industries and Smart Cities research group at the Estonian Business School. Since 2016 Kristiina has been part of the Creativity Lab think tank. From 2021 Kristiina is also part of the Urbsill team. In addition, Kristiina works as a representative of the Creative Europe program Culture strand in Estonia.
