Short bio
PastKristiina started as a creative entrepreneur in 2008. She has been one of the founders and a manager of a graphic design agency (CTRL Control Disain) and since 2011 also of a company combining new technologies and audiovisual solutions (Visar Studio). Kristiina is also one of the authors and producers of the first 4D animation in Estonia.

ExperienceKristiina has experience in creative entrepreneurship, strategic management, marketing, and product as well as service development. She has been leading international teams and projects, plus managed design and innovation processes.

TodayIn 2014 Kristiina started to contribute to the field of creative industries in more depth. She is executing her experience and knowledge to research Cultural and Creative Industries as well as consulting creative and cultural organizations and companies. Kristiina is also managing the Creative Industries and Smart Cities research group in the Estonian Business School. From 2021 Kristiina is also part of the Urbsill team.

EducationKristiina is a Ph.D. candidate in the Estonian Business School. Her research is focused on Cultural and Creative Industries and on developing creative entrepreneurship. Kristiina has a Master's degree in Cultural Management and an undergraduate degree from art college Pallas (major in Media and Design).
